Dear AMSA Family,
We are extending this invitation to all interested schools of medicine in the country to represent the Philippines in this international competition.
The international competition in Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology is held by Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Thailand on 10-14 March 2012.
Each faculty is allowed to register only one team which consists of 4 members and 1 professor. Only 30 teams will be recruited.
Please send in your list of members to pres.amsaphil@gmail.com not later than 05 DEC 2011. If there will be too many teams who will register, we would have to do an elimination round to choose which team to send.
Registration, accommodation, workshop and training fees are all FREE!!!

Cost/Expenses:
There is an early registration fee of EU190, which must be wired by November 18, 2011; late registrants have a fee of EU385. The fee is inclusive of hotel costs. The flight expenses are to be shouldered by the delegates. I can supply a copy of solicitation and excuse letter from AMSA-Philippines.
It would also be preferred that if accepted, the delegate pushes through with attending the conference so make sure to inform and request permission from your dean and professors, else your school incur penalties.

The 2nd AMSA-Philippines Research Competition
One of the aims of AMSA Philippines is to provide a forum for the exploration and discussion of different aspects of medical education. Scientific research is one of the most essential facets of a deepening and evolving understanding of medical science. Because of this, NMSC 2012 will hold the 2nd AMSA-Philippines Research Competition to recognize this year's best scientific studies by Filipino medical students.
