We at Asian Medical Students' Association Philippines (AMSA Phil) recognize the importance of adequate skills and knowledge in marketing and finance in order to implement carefully-crafted and financially sustainable advocacy projects. We seek to serve as a platform for advocacy among medical students through contributions in the field of public and reproductive health, as well as human rights and peace, among others.
In this light, AMSA Phil brings you Hustle to Serve: Marketing Basics for Social Advocates, a distinctive one-day seminar this June 21, 2014. The event is open to all medical students, youth advocates as well as students from all fields of study.
It aims to provide basic knowledge on marketing for student organizations as well as funding for social advocacy projects, in order to inspire future leaders and healthcare providers to create products and advocacy ventures that will benefit not only their immediate community, but also the society at large.
